Join Clarke-Oconee Genealogical Society for this SPECIAL AFTER-HOURS event at the Oconee County Library. With genealogy research, as well as DAILY modern life, comes A LOT of digital documents and images. This year’s after-hours event will focus around digital preservation and digitization. Do you have family photos? Or perhaps photos of historic Bogart, Watkinsville, or Farmington that need to be digitized? Maybe you inherited grandma’s scrapbook and you want to share it with family–Learn how to scan, save, and share your photos, heirlooms, and other special family history materials AFTER HOURS with COGS!
A session on Creating a Personal Digital Archive will be offered, one-on-one scanning sessions (book here) with expert staff, and food & drink provided by the Friends of the Oconee County Library.
